Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the first woman to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second at both the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. Her fame has been built on being the only woman ever to win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 as well as 2012. She is also known for being the winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie together with her the rest of her family, were born at Reykjavik Iceland. From the age of a child, she's been a competitive athlete and fitness enthusiast. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. Due to her incredible performance she became the very first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she was able to win consecutively. Also, in 2014, she was awarded a Silver Medal, and, most recently, in 2021, she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach as well as a trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae. Aside from that, she also has her own Youtube channel which has around a thousand subscribers where her training video clips, diet and travel vlogs are uploaded.
