Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on 8 August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. Her parents who was both dentists and a teacher, recognized and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for theater and drama at the age of a stage novice. Their support is more than enough for Audrey to combat her desire to become primatologist. Her rise to fame as an actor in the young age was rapid and accompanied by her early successes. In 1998, after completing her studies, she was able to participate in Jeunes Premiers, a French show on TV that is a talent-scouting initiative, which is that was sponsored by Canal+. There she received the award for best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. It was this that led her to embark on a professional acting career. Tautou is a pupil of her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and was a student there from young age, has disavowed her Catholic education. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. Alongside her acting profession, she has was also interested in modeling. The model was in the commercials for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and has been referred as "The Chanel Muse". In the past, during the Arles Arts Festival she exhibited a collection of photographs under the heading Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on celebrity and fame, and focuses the camera on those who scrutinized her when she exploded in fame and fortune with Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's global success and fame soared after her role in the film as Amelie Poulain's lead actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie won international acclai film box office successes and received acclaim at awards galas across the world. It's the biggest French language film ever to be released in the US. The popularity of the film led Tautou to a variety of roles, ranging from British dramas like Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
