Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor who is most well famous for her character of the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light.
